The Nzega Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (NZUWASA) is a legally established entity responsible for the overall operations and management of water supply and sanitation services in Nzega Town.The core function of the Authority is to provide clean, portable and wholesome water to Nzega District residence In order to attain its vision and mission, NZUWASA is seeking to recruit dynamic, experienced, competent and qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts within the Authority’s establishment.

Direct Entry Qualifications

Holder of a Diploma/FTC in Water Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized and a reputable Institution and must be a computer literate.

Duties and Responsibilities.

Carry out water sample tests every day in order to establish the types and quantities of water treatment.Carry out analysis of raw water and treated water.Collect water samples at different parts of the water treatment plant for analysis and recording;Carry out water and waste water treatment processes.Carry out physical, chemical and bacteriological analysis of water and waste water. o Ensure that equipment in the laboratory are in working order by requesting regular servicing and regular calibration:Draft periodical performance reports on laboratory activities.

Monitor water quality and quantity from reservoir and other water sources, water treatment plants and water distribution systems and ensures compliance with the prescribed Tanzania standards for drinking water and advice accordingly.Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.Internship Opportunities at Nzega Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (NZUWASA)
